Today we meet Sheila of SEG Media Collective, LLC. She’s the owner of a social-media focused creative agency here in Manhattan that helps businesses meet their goals.
What’s your business backstory?
I worked with the Kansas Small Business Development Center as a social media consultant helping small businesses with their social media strategies. From this experience, I fell in love with working with small businesses. What I noticed is that these businesses needed help with daily social media management ,content creation, and strategy implementation – and that’s how SEG Media Collective was born. We now are a full-service marketing agency providing social media management advertising, training and strategy, marketing strategy, website development and design, branding, graphic design, event promotion, photography and videography, and public relations.
What do you love about owning a business in Manhattan?
I love that we have a supportive small business community and the community supports small businesses. I love that we have the energy of being a college/military town allowing for diverse experiences to be cultivated. I love that I can be a part of Manhattan working toward being not only a diverse community but a more inclusive community.

I love seeing our clients WIN! We believe our success is our client’s success. We love seeing our clients connect authentically with their customers, clients, and patients to see positive results and change in their business. We love helping business owners and organizations craft and tell their stories, grow their revenue, and amplify their impact.
What experience do you want people to have with your business?
We believe every business is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to marketing. While we stay on top of digital marketing trends and tools, we understand an unconventional approach is needed sometimes. We are not afraid to roll up our sleeves to work side-by-side with you to uncover the best approach to get you the positive results you deserve. We are a small, family-owned business, and our team and clients are an extension of our family. We want our clients to be heard, seen, and understood.
